Home of the Players Championship, which many consider the fifth major.
This is definitely a test, tee shots for the most part aren’t too bad when the correct tees are played, though #17&18 make up for the rest of the course. definitely want to leave misses in the right spots, pay attention to which way the grain is going, as Bermuda is much different than Bentgrass as we have here in MI. A lot of water, want to be strategic with tee shot lines, and leaves on par 5’s if necessary (I’m sure most always “go for it” right) haha. Obviously was in pristine condition. Was a great (but costly) experience. I also know they have raised rates significantly since I played in 2017. (I think it’s like $8-$900 now which includes a mandatory caddy, that was not what I paid lol). Amazing Clubhouse as well, awesome seeing everything from the Players tournaments being held there.
