Pheasant Run Golf Course

This course holds a special place in my heart as I would probably consider it my “home course” located in Canton, MI. It is the course that I have played the most and one of the first “really nice” courses I ever played when I first started getting into golf. Pheasant Run offers 27 holes and you cant go wrong with any combination of the 3 of them for your round of 18. For around the $60 bucks that it costs, it’s a fun course to get out, enjoy a few cold ones with the boys (or girls) and knock the ball around a bit. Clubhouse staff is always friendly, and the cart girls are out in full force and typically pour pretty strong. It is usually pretty well maintained and in very good condition, have never really had any complaints about course condition. Would I put it at the top of my list for a golf trip to this area? No. But for anyone that’s local and wants to change things up, its definitely worth 30-45 minute drive to play!

Cart Girl—yes, always get a strong pour as well. Have had some great glizzys at the turn, would not recommend the wraps though lol

Course- Love this course, overall typically in pretty good shape

Difficulty—Not too difficult, but be careful because houses are for sure in play. Lot of out of bounds/heather as well so could easily lose some golf balls

Overall—6.9/10… (10/10 in my heart). Love this course and its special to me, just cant give it much higher because its not worth much more than an hour drive and I wouldn’t recommend adding it to any golf trip unless youre staying in southeast MI and not wanting to go towards the Clarkston/Oxford area.
